I guess the meaning of introverts is yet to be understood by many. I keep to myself and do my own work but these days my colleagues and my boss have made it a point to make fun of how quiet I am. It's not a funny matter, and its not like I'm scared of talking. People are different and these differences should be respected. It's not making fun that I can complain against, because its not offensive as such. Examples are hard to give because they make fun of me with respect to the situation. Like, if everyone is laughing at a joke and I smiled because I dont laugh out loud, boss says "haa scared to show teeth?" while it might not sound too bad, this repeated on a daily basis and only against me is putting me on edge. I don't think theres a solution to this but being an introvert in a corporate world sucks.
