What to do when going to work is difficult

I just thought I'd share this with you all - I've been fighting terrible mental health issues and therapy is a big no. So I started to wonder what to do when it gets very hard for me to get up in the morning and go to work. It was very hard for me to continue some days and too many work from home requests got me scared that I'll get fired also. So I started this ritual of journal writing. For those who understand depression, I can tell you that this helps more than anything. It shows you an index of your own mind, put down on words on paper. You can talk about one good thing that happened each day, even if its the smallest thing like petting a dog or something, and when you go back and see the one good thing each day, it'll give you a sense of joy on how your days are passed. Not saying it'll drive away your depression but guys I promise that it'll make a difference. I can tell you the first thing on my journal was this beautiful thing I saw an old man helping this lady cross the road, holding her hand and smiling all the way. When all things feel too difficult guys, these few happy pages made all the difference to me. Do share some of your ideas on what you guys do when getting out of bed is too hard
