Should companies discourage WFH?
Been interviewing for a position at HP and during the interview process it has been mentioned multiple times that “we have WFH policy but we highly recommend coming in every day” from all the interviewers. What does this indicate about the culture of the company? Old traditional culture of showing off work, spending time in talking and doing less work? Shouldn't companies encourage WFH for IC roles? you spend less time on roads and focus more on work.
