I am working in HCl for 5 years. Recently my TL came back from on-site after 3.5 years. As he came down he puts paper and got his salary revised with a decent hike. Next thing he did was cuts the complete team communication with manager. Now team is not aware of any discussion with manager and will only know the outcome which are very unfortunate. He torture every person in the team except one whom he favours even in his dreams. He tortured few ppl in team one of the person got frustrated and calls manager that he would commit suicide, due to which he got release. Another person puts paper and now he is targeting me everyday. He will put unnecessary work load on me and let his favourite ppl enjoy and shout at me in public, on other hand hide his mistakes .There are many things like this which he does and I don't know really what to do.
What I can feel is that because of him team environment is worst, even every fresher want to move out of team because of him.
Please let me know if this comes under mental harassments, as he is doing disparity. And also is it good to approach HR for this situation?
