Loyalty to manager vs more money

I have worked under my current manager for 18 months and have really learned a lot from him in this time - both in terms of technical knowledge and also how to handle issues at work. Now his peer is asking me to join their team and is willing to give me a increment too. I just feel that my manager invested so much in me and now I’m ready to contribute so ditching him now would be really cheap on my part. Or should I just go with the change as it offers me more money and maybe a promotion soon
