Loneliness at the workplace.
A good friend of mine got a better job offer so she left the company a month ago. Ever since then, I've focused on my work, and nothing more. I don't take breaks because I'm scared of being alone. There's no one else I really consider a friend or they don't talk to me and we've never spoken. In a way, yes it feels like I depended on my friend a lot but now I want to get back on my feet. Work also seems blah when you feel so lonely. I wish I could stop eating my lunches alone, stop taking breaks alone. I'm an introvert, so it isn't easy for me to approach people but on the other hand, everyone is busy with something. How do you get rid of this stinging loneliness?
